Recensioner i media
This was perhaps the most extraordinary bridge the country ever saw, and it was certainly the longest inhabited bridge in western Europe. Surprisingly, until now, relatively little has been known about it, but new research presented here, with a wealth of high-quality illustrations (including five specially commissioned reconstructions), reveals a wealth of information about the bridge, its houses and their inhabitants and owners … Altogether richly and delightfully informative, this is an important contribution to urban studies.
