Beskrivning
Cheyenne Historical Episodes picks up where Maheos Children leaves off, continuing the story of the Cheyenne people from around A.D. 1800 through to 1890. Through carefully selected episodes, the author brings to life key moments in Cheyenne history, offering unique insights into their experiences and struggles during this period.Building on oral traditions shared by tribal informants and supported by newly uncovered documented research, this volume presents fresh perspectives on intertribal warfare and cultural history not previously explored in earlier studies. Both a continuation and a deepening of the work begun in Maheos Children, this book provides readers with a rare and authentic account of the Cheyenne's journey across the 19th century
