BCP Morning Prayer

Michael Reader-Harris is a Lay Reader (lay preacher) at St Silas' Church, Glasgow. For 22 years he has been responsible for a monthly service of Morning Prayer from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. About half of those who come to this service are under 35 years old. He has led seven weekends going deeper into different parts of the service, from the responses to the Te Deum. Month by month he aims to help those who come to the service to understand how the service works and therefore to enjoy it. In this book he brings together what he has learnt and taught, for the benefit of a wider audience.
