    Beskrivning

The global financial sector is experiencing rapid technological disruption, while simultaneously facing pressure to meet sustainability goals in accordance with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).Global financial systems are undergoing unprecedented changes driven by rapid technological advancements, environmental challenges, and evolving socio-economic dynamics. Islamic finance, rooted in Shariah principles emphasizing fairness, risk-sharing, and ethical investment, offers a unique framework to address these challenges. However, the integration of innovation and sustainability within the Islamic finance ecosystem has not been fully explored, leaving significant gaps in both academic literature and industry practice. The research here bridges the gap between Islamic finance and emerging trends in innovation and sustainability. By synthesizing insights from diverse fields, including fintech, halal economy, environmental finance, and digital transformation, it provides a multi-disciplinary perspective. In addition, analyses of case studies, empirical data, and theoretical frameworks highlight best practices and innovative models that can be scaled and replicated across the Islamic finance ecosystem.Emerald Studies in Islamic Economy and Finance (ESIEF) is a ground-breaking series published by Emerald Publishing dedicated to advancing the knowledge and understanding of Islamic economics and finance. In an era where the global economic landscape is constantly evolving this will series seeks to contribute significantly to the academic discourse surrounding Islamic economy and finance building on the rich heritage of Islamic economic thought while embracing contemporary perspectives and challenges. The series also committed to strengthening rigorous academic inquiry promoting scholarly collaboration and ultimately enriching the understanding of Islamic economics and finance in the global context.
