Laura Inigo Alvarez is a researcher in Public International Law at the University of Seville. Her research focuses on the responsibility of non-state armed groups for violations of international humanitarian law and the legal consequences of such responsibility. She conducted her research as part of a Joint Doctorate Agreement between Utrecht University and the University of Seville from 2016 to 2019. Currently, she is a contributor to Oxford Reports on International Law in Domestic Courts. She is also a member of the European Society of International Law (ESIL) and the Spanish Bar Association.
