Beskrivning
In 2 Corinthians you get a picture of how Paul is a model on how to be a leader in the church. We live with Paul through the problems of overseeing many congregations in different stages of growth. We are given examples of how to deal with many types of disciplinary issues yet throughout it is a great example of the use of authority coupled with humility - two things that the modern world has great difficulties in putting together. If you ask Christian leaders for one of their greatest difficulties in ministry is, it is this, how to lead without arrogance. The answers on how to do that are here.

Recensioner i media

”"Faithful to the text, Douglas brings the meaning of the great themes of 2 Corinthians right into the twenty-first century. His is the gift of lifting the great apostle's thoughts and experiences and transferring them into 'light' and 'salt' for the church today. This is a book for ministers about their congregations; it also a book for congregations about their ministers! Indeed, it will be a hard heart that is not deeply moved and renewed by the reading of New Life in the Wasteland."“David Searle(Pastor and former Director of Rutherford House, Edinburgh.)”"This book contains much to challenge. It is rich in spiritual teaching. I wish it a wide and attentive reading, and I pray its message will be applied - urgently!"“Evangelical Times”"Douglas Kelly takes us on a whirlwind tour of 2 Corinthians without in any way missing the Paul's main issue or overlooking is thorough argument. He brings positive encouragement indepressing times for pastors and people alike."“Stephen Atkinson, Evangelical Press”"The book is written in a simple, straight-forward style, without the use of technical terms. It is rich in vivid illustrations and is easy to read."“Evangelicals Now
