He specialises in the wines of the Rhône Valley; he is Regional Chair for the Rhône at the Decanter World Wine Awards, edits the Rhône entries for the Oxford Companion to Wine and the World Atlas of Wine, and his latest book, Wines of the Rhône, was shortlisted for the André Simon Food & Drink Book Awards 2022.
