Effective Habits of a Newborn Christian

One of the most difficult challenges of becoming a new Christian is finding sound advice on how to start ones early walk in the basics of the Christian lifestyle. There are scores of books on the Bible, but the vast majority are for the mature Christians. Where are the books that lay out the basic for the newcomer? For the beginner in the faith, how often have you heard the advice from the church leaders and members, What you need to do next is get into a good church and start reading your Bible.
