    Beskrivning

    This book is a compilation of scientific articles written by recognized researchers, and select students, participating in the Second Conference on the Study of Complex Systems and their Applications (EDIESCA 2021). EDIESCA 2021 arose from the need for academic and research groups that carry out this scientific research to disseminate their results internationally. The study and characterization of systems with non-linear and/or chaotic behavior has been of great interest to researchers around the world, for which many important results have been obtained with various applications. The dynamic study of chaotic oscillators of different models, such as Rössler, Lorenz, and Chua, has generated important advances in understanding of chemical reactions, meteorological behavior, design of electronic devices, and other applications. Topics at the event included applications for communications systems by masking techniques, financial behavior, networks analysis, nonlinear lasers, numerical modeling, electronic design, and other interesting topics in the area of complex systems. Additionally, there are results on numerical simulation and electronic designs to generate complex dynamic behaviors.

    Guillermo Huerta Cuéllar received a B.Sc. degree from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, México, in 2004, and a Ph.D. degree from Centro de Investigaciones en Óptica (CIO), México, in 2009. Since 2010 to present he have been working at the Exact Sciences and Technology Department in Centro Universitario de los Lagos, Universidad de Guadalajara. He has been Visiting Researcher at Instituto Potosino de Investigación Científica y Tecnológica, IPICYT (2012-2014), at Faculty of Radiophysics, Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia (2016), at St. Mary's University, San Antonio, USA (2018-2019), and at IPICYT (2019-2020). His research interests include characterization, dynamical behaviour, and design in nonlinear dynamical systems. Eric Campos Cantón received B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP) México, in 1997, 1999 and 2003, respectively. During 2002-2010 he was with the mathematical physicist department at UASLP. In 2010 he was appointed as Professor-Researcher at IPICYT. He has been Visiting Researcher in the department of Mathematics at University of Houston, USA (2016-2017).  His research interests include dynamical systems with chaotic behaviour, application of dynamical systems in cryptology, experimental implementations of mathematical models with nonlinear and chaotic dynamics.Esteban Tlelo-Cuautle received a B.Sc. degree from Instituto Tecnológico de Puebla México in 1993. He received both M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica, Óptica y Electrónica (INAOE), México in 1995 and 2000, respectively. In 2001 he was appointed as Professor-Researcher at INAOE. He has been Visiting Researcher at University of California Riverside, USA, Visiting Researcher atCINVESTAV, México, and Visiting Lecturer at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He has authored 5 books, edited 11 books and 300 researchpublications. His research interests includeanalog signal processing, integrated circuits, optimization, fractional-order chaotic systems.
