A holistic perspective on prominent role of network slicing in managing wireless network resources is provided as well.Overall, network slicing as a key technology of wireless networks, enables to satisfy differentiated service demands of multiple tenants from vertical industries with the same shared physical infrastructure network.
Wanqing Guan received the Ph.D in Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2019. She is currently a lecture of University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), China. Her current research interests include B5G/6G networks, radio resource allocation, network slicing, application of machine learning in wireless communication.Haijun Zhang was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada. He is currently a Full Professor with the University of Science and Technology Beijing, China. He received the IEEE CSIM Technical Committee Best Journal Paper Award in 2018, the IEEE ComSoc Young Author Best Paper Award in 2017, and the IEEE ComSoc Asia–Pacific Best Young Researcher Award in 2019.
