      This book is a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in the field of graphene-based electrochemical energy storage devices. Graphene is considered one of the most promising materials for developing high-performance electrochemical energy storage devices due to its large surface area, high electrical conductivity, and superior mechanical strength. This book highlights its fundamental properties, synthesis methods, and various electrochemical energy storage applications such as in supercapacitors, batteries, and fuel cells.The first chapter introduces the electronic, mechanical, and thermal properties of graphene and discusses various synthesis methods such as mechanical exfoliation, chemical vapor deposition, and epitaxial growth. Additionally, it describes the functionalization of graphene to enhance its characteristics for electrochemical energy storage applications. The second chapter focuses on the application of graphene in supercapacitors, energy storage devices that require high power density. It details different types of supercapacitors such as electrochemical capacitors, pseudo capacitors, and hybrid capacitors and discusses how graphene can enhance their performance. The third chapter covers the use of graphene in batteries, describing how graphene-based anodes and cathodes improve energy density, cycling stability, rate capability across various battery types including lithium-ion, sodium-ion, and zinc-ion batteries. The final chapter is dedicated to the use of graphene in fuel cells, electrochemical devices that transform chemical energy into electrical power, and describes how graphene-based materials can be utilized as catalysts or supports within fuel cells for improved performance and durability. Various types of fuel cells such as proton exchange membrane fuel cells, direct methanol fuel cells, and solid oxide fuel cells are examined.       Dr. Virat KhannaDr. Virat Khanna works as an Associate Professor at the UCRD, Chandigarh University, Punjab, India. He has more than 15 years of experience in academics and research. He has authored over 50 national and international publications in SCI, Scopus, and Web of Science-indexed journals. He is the editor of several books and conference proceedings with international publishers like Springer, CRC Press, IGI Global and Bentham Science Books. He has delivered several invited seminars and keynote talks on international platforms and has been awarded the best research paper awards. He also serves as the Editorial Board member of the prestigious journal "Scientific Reports", of Nature Group and is also the academic editor of the "Journal of Nanotechnology", Wiley and "Advanced Materials Science and Engineering", Wiley. He is also the Book Series Editor entitled "Recent Advances in Materials for Nanotechnology" of CRC Press, Taylor & Francis- Publisher. He has also guest edited various special issues with various international journal publishers like Springer, De Gruyter, etc. He is also a reviewer board member of several international journals.Dr. Chander PrakashChander Prakash serving as Group Pro-Vice Chancellor, Rayat Bahra University, Mohali, Punjab, India. He served as Dean of Research and Development/School of Mechanical Engineering at Lovely Professional University, India. He did his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Panjab University, Chandigarh. He has published over 530 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is a highly cited researcher with 13400 citations (H-index 66 and I-10 index 252: Google Scholar 2025). He is listed in the Top 2% world’s leading scientists published by Stanford University and Elsevier. Dr. Prakash edited/authored 30 books, serving as Series Editor of 3 books, as Guest Editor and serving as Editorial Board Member of Journals. He has published 18 patents. Dr. Prakash raised funds for Mega Grants in collaboration with Southern Federal University, Russian Federation.
