Surekha Borra (Senior Member, IEEE) earned her doctorate in image processing with a focus on copyright protection of images from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India, in 2015. She began her academic career as an assistant professor in 2004 and has served in engineering colleges for 18 years. She is a Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering (IoT, Cybersecurity, and Blockchain Technology) at K. S. Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, India, and is currently serving as Chief Development Officer at PSR IT Services. Her research interests include image and video analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, biometrics, biomedical signal processing, and remote sensing. She has received grants and awards from the Institution of Engineers (India) and the Karnataka State Government. Honors include the Woman Achiever’s Award from the Institution of Engineers (India) and the Distinguished Educator and Scholar Award.Nilanjan Dey (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. and M.Tech. in information technology from West Bengal Board of Technical University and the Ph.D. in electronics and telecommunication engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2005, 2011, and 2015. Currently, he is a professor with Techno International New Town, Kolkata, and a visiting fellow of the University of Reading, UK.
