Her influence extends internationally, having contributed to zoo legislation reform in other countries with a focus on improving animal welfare globally.Samantha is a Professor of Zoo Animal Welfare and Legislation at Nottingham Trent University, where she teaches and mentors students, leads pioneering research, and bridges the gap between academic science and zoo practice.
