Dr. Selopal is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, at Dalhousie University. Dr. Selopal is a Licensed Professional Engineer and holds an Adjunct Professor appointment at INRS-EMT, QC, and UPEI, PEI, Canada. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the University of Brescia, Italy, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at INO-CNR, Italy, and as a Research Associate/Group leader at INRS-EMT, Canada. Dr. Selopal is a well-established nanotechnologist in the field of sustainable energy conversion/storage, environmental remediation, and smart agriculture technologies. His research projects focus on advanced nanoengineering of multifunctional materials, nanofabrication, and architectural design optimization to make these technologies more reliable, economically viable, and affordable in the context of net-zero transitions, funded by NSERC, NSDA-SCAP, NB-SCAP, JELF-CFI, MITACS and Industrial partners. He has 90+ peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals (Adv. Energy Mater., Nano Energy, Adv. Sci., Chem. Eng. J., Adv. Funct. Mater., etc.) and serves as a reviewer for 30+ journals and for several national/internal funding agencies. Dr. Selopal has an impressive record of training HQP in different technologies.Dr. Puneet Kaur is presently working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Physics, at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan (R.O.C.). She obtained her Ph.D. degree from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, and worked as a project associate at CSIR-CSIO, Chandigarh. Her research work is focused on the development of efficient and color-tuneable phosphors with the ability to utilize the overall solar spectrum, energy storage and conversion, photo electrocatalysis, VOC degradation, etc. Currently, she is working on the development of freestanding thin films for various device applications with an emphasis on energy storage applications. She has published more than 20 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals, 03 book chapters, and edited a book to be published with Springer Nature. She is also working as a guest editor and reviewer of renowned national and international journals. She has received several research grants from India and abroad including the prestigious Inspire scholarship and fellowship award.Dr. Rahul is an early career, young, passionate researcher and is currently working at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan as a Post-Doctoral Research Scientist funded by NSTC, Taiwan. He completed his doctoral degree from the Centre of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He has published more than 17 research papers, and 03 book chapters in peer-reviewed journals, and edited a book that will be published by Springer Nature. His research interest primarily lies in interdisciplinary Materials Science. He has research specialization in the fields of energy storage devices, band alignment studies, water splitting applications, nanomaterials, and thin film synthesis using Physical and Chemical Vapor Deposition. He has reviewed several papers for various journals of National and International repute and has been awarded several recognitions. He has received the prestigious Inspire fellowship funded by the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, India, and TEEP@AsiaPlus funded by MOST, Taiwan.
