Kevin Daimi received his Ph.D. from the University of Cranfield, England. He has a long academic and industry experience. His research interests include Computer and Network Security with emphasis on vehicle network security, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Computer Science and Software Engineering Education. He has over 100 publications. He is the editor of Nine books in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, health informatics, and data science: Computer and Network Security Essentials, Innovation in Cybersecurity Education, Advances in Cybersecurity Management, Principles of Data Science, Innovations in Digital Biometrics and Forensics, Principles and Practice of Blockchains, Emerging Trends in Cybersecurity Applications, Cutting Edge Applications of Computational Intelligence Tools and Techniques, and Current and Future Trends in Health and Medical Informatics, which were published by Springer. He has been chairing the annual International Conference on Security and Management (SAM) since 2012. He is also the Program Chair for the annual International Conference on Innovations in Computing Research (ICR) since 2022, the annual International Conference on Advances in Computing Research (ACR) since 2023, and the 2026 International Conference on Innovations in Artificial Intelligence (BAI’26). Moreover, he is the corresponding editor of the Proceedings of the ICR’22-ICR’25, and ACR’23-ACR’25 published by Springer Book Series: Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems. Kevin is a Senior Member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and a Fellow of the British Computer Society (BCS). He is the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award from the 2010 World Congress in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Applied Computing (WORLDCOMP’10) in Recognition and Appreciation of his Leadership, Service and Research Contributions to the Field of Network Security. He is currently Professor Emeritus of Computer Science and Software Engineering at the University of Detroit Mercy.Abeer Alsadoon received her Ph.D. from the University of Technology, Baghdad. She published more than 140 papers in A and B ranking journals and has more than 100 conference papers published in different peer review IEEE conferences, and she has received four (4) best paper awards. She edited an Emerging Trends in Cybersecurity Applications, Cutting Edge Applications of Computational Intelligence Tools and Techniques, and Current and Future Trends in Health and Medical Informatics books published by Springer. Abeer received twenty (20) awards for teaching and research excellence from different Australian Universities. She has been recognized nationally as one out of five finalists for the prestigious 2019 Australian Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards in the category of Emerging Female Leader in the Government and Public Sector. She is the chair of International Conference on Health Informatics and Medical System (HIMS’22, HIMS’23, HIMS’24 & HIMS’25), Las Vegas, USA. Abeer is the Program Chair of the International Conference on Innovations in Computing Research (ICR’22, ICR’23, ICR’24, ICR’25 & ICR’26), the International Conference on Advances in Computing Research (ACR’23, ACR’24, ACR’25 & ACR’26), the 2026 International Conference on Innovations in Artificial Intelligence (BAI’26), and the International Conference on Innovative Technologies in Intelligent Systems & Industrial Application (CITISIA’20, CITISIA’21, CITISIA’22, CITISIA’23 CITISIA’24& CITISIA’25), Sydney, Australia. Abeer is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). She has many years of academic experience. She was a Dean of Scholarship and Research at Kent Institute Australia. In addition, Dr Alsadoon was an Associate Professor at Charles Sturt University (CSU), Australia. Abeer is currently an Associate Professor at Education Centre of Australia (ECA)-Asia Pacific International College (APIC) in addition to being a seasonal academic staff at Western Sydney University (WSU).
