    Beskrivning

This book provides a comprehensive overview of how medical education is likely to develop over the coming years. The landscape of professional medical education is poised for transformation, driven by the evolving demands of healthcare systems and technological advancements. This forward and visionary look into the future of medical education provides medical educators with the tools and strategies to begin the process of transforming their current practices. This vision is essential to begin the process of change in how medical education is provided across the world.Modern Medical Education prepares the doctors of the future for the challenges of modern medicine, who can then respond to future global healthcare developments using the lessons learned within. An essential component of each chapter is a clear vision of the possible future and a discussion of both the potential enabling factors and also the potential barriers, including suggestions on how they can be successfully overcome. This book significantly contributes to the discourse on the future of health professions education and provides valuable insights for directors of medical education institutions and medical education practitioners, as well as medical education policy-makers and funders.
