He engages in Risk Analysis in a Postgraduate Disaster Management at VESTA in Brussel. He coordinates the Antwerp Research Group on Safety and Security and he has extensive experience in leading research projects. _ Valerio Cozzani obtained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, University of Pisa, Italy, 1997. B.Sc.+M.Sc. (Laurea Quinquennale) in Chemical Engineering, University of Pisa (Italy), 1992, cum laude (Honors). Currently he is Professor at the School of Engineering and member of the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering, University of Bologna. Prof. Cozzani has several years of research experience in the fields of safety and sustainability of industrial processes, loss prevention and innovative environmental technologies.
