Operator Theorems with Applications to Distributive Problems and Equilibrium Models

This book deals with the analysis of some formal problems involving operators in Euclidean spaces and their applications to economic modelling. It contains a set of new results on the solvability of complementary problems and variational inequalities, and a number of applications to distributive problems and equilibrium models, that illustrate the interest of these results in economics. The approach consists of developing a mathematical framework allowing for a unified treatment of these problems.
