The Author: Antonio Portalatín, born in Puerto Rico in 1967, holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome (Angelicum), and in theology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ponce (Puerto Rico). He has devoted many years to biblical training at the Pontifical Biblical Institute of Rome, with sojourning in Jerusalem. Between the time of his licentiate’s degree in Sacred Scriptures and his doctoral studies he taught for five years in Puerto Rico. The author completed his dissertation at the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome in 2005.
