Ira Aldridge (1807–1867)

The Editors: Krystyna Kujawińska Courtney, Head of the British and Commonwealth Studies Department, University of Łódź (Poland), is author of several monographs. Shakespeare is her main field of academic research, though she is also interested in literary critical theory, especially cultural and gender studies. Maria A. Łukowska is an adjunct at the British and Commonwealth Studies at the University of Łódź. She has authored several essays and monographs. Her interests focus on cultural anthropology.
