He is the author of Judaism in Christian Eyes: Ethnographic Descriptions of Jews and Judaism in Early Modern Europe (Oxford University Press, 2012).Tamar Herzig, Ph.D. (2005) in History, Hebrew University Jerusalem, is a senior lecturer in early modern history at Tel Aviv University and the author of Savonarola’s Women: Visions and Reform in Renaissance Italy (The University of Chicago Press, 2008).
