The Himalayan Whisperings is a holistic volume that critically examines the complex interplay of development, governance, environment, and culture in the Himalayan region. The volume brings together contributions from over 40 scholars, academics, researchers, and practitioners from across disciplines of political science, environmental science, energy studies, economics, management, history, geography, and cultural studies. Its 25 chapters offer varied yet interconnected understanding of the region’s development challenges and opportunities, while examining key issues across Himalayan states of India.
