This book examines the recent developments in school education and music education in Greater China, Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and the relationship between, and integration of, national cultural identity and globalization in their respective school curriculums.
Wai-Chung Ho is a professor in the Department of Music at Hong Kong Baptist University. Her two most recent books are Popular Music, Cultural Politics and Music Education in China (2017) and Culture, Music Education, and the Chinese Dream in Mainland China (2018).
