Internationalization of Higher Education

CHENG, Yin Cheong  is Research Chair Professor of Leadership and Change of The Hong Kong Institute of Education. He is the Immediate Past President of the World Educational Research Association and the Past President of the Asia-Pacific Educational Research Association. He is the chairman of Tin Ka Ping Foundation’s advisory board. Prof. Cheng has published 20 academic books and over 200 book chapters, journal articles and other publications internationally. Some of his publications have been translated into Chinese, Hebrew, Korean, Spanish, Czech, Thai and Persian languages. He is at present serving on the advisory boards of 17 international journals.CHEUNG, Alan Chi Keung is currently Professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Policy and director of The Centre for University and School Partnership at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research areas include international education, school reform, and research reviews.  He was a recipient of the esteemed Palmer O. Johnson Memorial Award by the American Educational Research Association in 2008 and received the Research Excellence Award from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2013. Dr. Cheung has conducted research in various countries, including the UK, USA, China, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Ireland, and Mexico.NG, Shun Wing is Professor and the Head of Department of Education Policy and Leadership of The Hong Kong Institute of Education. He has published widely and internationally in areas of education policies, international education, educational change, home-school relations and citizenship education. He serves as editorial board member and guest editor of special issue for international journals. He was  awarded the Annual IISE Best Article 2013 for his article, entitled "Rethinking the Mission of Internationalization of Higher Education in Asia-Pacific Region", by the University of Pittsburgh Institute for International Studies in Education (IISE).
