His research deals with robust control, diagnosis, and observation for complex systems with focus on areas such as vehicles, autonomous robots applications, and renewable energy systems.Michele Calì is Associate Professor of Engineering Design and Methods at the Electronics and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Catania (UdC), Italy. He received M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from UdC in 1995 and Ph.D. degree in Structural Mechanics from UdC in 2000. In May 2023, he obtained National Academic Qualification as Full Professor.
