Associate Professor David RosenbaumDavid has been a senior academic and holds formal qualifications in Accounting and Management. He currently holds the position of Honorary Research Fellow at Excelsia College University in Sydney Australia. He has successfully practiced and consulted in these areas for many years prior to commencing his academic career. He has a PhD in Management focusing on change management in the nonprofit hospital sector. He is also a Senior Fellow of the UK-based Higher Education Academy, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and an internationally accredited Action Learning Facilitator. He is an active researcher and publisher and in 2019 was awarded the Emerald Literati Award for Outstanding Paper for his article entitled “Planned organisational change management – forward to the past? An exploratory literature review” published in the Journal of Organizational Change Management. David has extensive nonprofit board experience in various capacities including a current role as Chair of The Housing Connection in Sydney Australia, a nonprofit housing and service provider to people with disabilities, as well as Treasurer of Upstream Australia, a nonprofit change enabling organization developing large-scale community-based homelessness solutions. He is the Managing Director of OPTIMUM NFP, a management consulting firm focusing entirely on nonprofit organizations. Emeritus Professor Elizabeth More AMProfessor Elizabeth More’s academic qualifications include a BA (Hons) (UNSW), GradDipMgt (Central Queensland), MComLaw (Deakin), and a PhD (UNSW). She is currently an expert consultant on Higher Education and a member of a number of the Boards of higher education institutions in Australia, including being a Director in the Council of the Australian Institute of Business and Management trading as Kings Own Institute, a leading independent sector tertiary education institution. Professor More received the Australian government’s award of Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for service to education, particularly in the fields of communication, management and organisational change. She is currently the Chair of Flourish Australia in Sydney Australia. Professor More is a past President of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management, and the Australian Communication Association. Her academic career spans the key roles of Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Macquarie and Canberra universities; Director of the Macquarie University Graduate School of Management (MGSM), and Dean of three Business Schools at the Macquarie University, the Australian Catholic University (ACU), and at the Australian Institute of Management. Mark OrrMark has over 30 years’ experience working in the areas of disability and mental health in the government and not-for-profit sectors as a registered psychologist, manager, senior executive and tribunal member. He has formal qualifications in psychology, corporate governance, health service management, special education, finance and e-health. He is a Chartered Company Secretary and experienced board director in not-for-profit health and disability services. Mark currently serves on the boards of State and National Mental Health Peak Organisations that represent community-based not-for-profits, as well as health professionals, people with lived experience of a mental health issue, and families, carers and kin. He is the president of the Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations representing the community-based response to HIV in Australia and which delivers capacity building programs in the South East Asia. Mark is the CEO of Flourish Australia, one of Australia’s largest specialist mental health community managed organisations providing a wide range of supports to people with complex mental health issues. Mark is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of New South Wales Sydney researching digital mental health peer work. His research interests include mental health peer work, digital approaches to mental health service delivery, and addressing the early mortality of people with complex mental health issues due to physical health conditions.
