History of the American Involvement in Vietnam

This book is a complete history of the American involvement in Vietnam from 1955 to 1975. It begins with the involvement by the Eisenhower administration in assisting the French efforts in Indo China, and includes Eisenhower's sending advisors to Vietnam, John Kennedy's continual involvement in the rising conflict, the full war effort as prosecuted by Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon, and then the final withdrawal from the conflict in 1975 by President Ford.
