In the scientific book, such problems as geological and technical substantiation of oil and gas prospectivity of deep Miocene-Mesozoic deposits of the Gogerendag-Ekerem tectonic zone, which have a complex mountain-geological structure with anomalously high reservoir pressures, are fully considered. The research is based on the materials of drilling of super-deep wells of Turkmenistan under the AHFP (Abnormally High Formation Pressure). Currently, there is a great interest worldwide in the development of deep reservoirs, for which new drilling solutions are needed. This issue is being discussed in detail. Increasing oil and gas production is inevitably connected with well-drilling technology. In this regard, the paper proposes to analyse the attempt of previously drilled wells. The paper outlines the mechanisms, formulates the technological requirements, describes the factors affecting the efficiency of well construction, and presents an exemplary technological scheme. The author believes that the work will help in further studies for drilling deep wells in difficult mining and geological conditions under AHFP.
