This Casebook adopts a critical perspective towards the aims and achievements of three leading British poets of the post-1950 period. Incorporating a retrospective survey of the critical responses to each poet during the last thirty years or so it enables the reader to achieve a sharper understanding of their poetic art and relevance to the literary culture of today.
