It''s totally refreshing to find a book written by a bloke for blokes about blokes in love. This book is well overdue and women all over the world should be celebrating. At last a bloke talking about "evolve-ya-bastard" to men. What is great is the question and answer format. So, it''s relevant and contextual. I mean he''s taken questions from people and answered them in as short a space of page as could be imagined. I don''t think he could have said less, but in this case, less is more. The chapter about "understanding others" is awesome too. Who would have thought that thousands of years ago people knew so much about the human constitution and how "different folks need different strokes" just from that alone, we can understand the dynamics between ourselves and others better and therefore, respect them more. The last chapter blew us away. Those two circles and the idea of being individual for more than 60% of our life yet, merging for 30% is sensational. It just makes being in love so much more fun. Partners all over the world will really laugh at this when they see how simple it can be. This is really life changing. As for the laws of nature: what genius. It is said that the most powerful teacher can make the most complex, simple. Brilliant understanding of the whole entire universe in five short laws, it''s really unimaginable that it can be so ordered and perfect. So is this book.

As fresh and poignant today as when they were written, these touching letters capture the heart of everyday life during the Civil War.
Set both at home in Florida and on the front, the letters were written by two generations of families whose members included radical secessionists, moderates, and even a few unionists.
The domestic letters, written mostly by mothers and daughters, describe their emotions in dealing with Yankee invaders and slaves and offer a rare picture of the expanded role of women as farm managers. From the military camps, soldiers write about Abe Lincoln, “coloured troops,” and deadly battles.
Especially, though, the letters tell a love story between Winston Stephens and Tivie Bryant, whose brief married life was interrupted by the war.

Bringing together international scholars and multidisciplinary perspectives, this book showcases theoretical approaches from across the social sciences, and offers empirical perspectives from around the world. Synthesizing related literatures on policy transfer, diffusion and mobility, and assessing their differences and commonalities, this book proposes ways to foster transdisciplinary dialogue. Including a range of case studies, from both the Global North and South, Public Policy Circulation provides a succinct understanding and critique of the Global policy transfer, diffusion and mobility through the lens of arenas, agents and actions.
This book will be a vital tool for academics and students of political science, public policy, public administration, international relations, geography, urban studies, sociology and anthropology alike, with its up-to-date coverage of contemporary policy circulation, and developments in the theory of global policy movement and adoption. It will also be of interest to practitioners in government agencies and NGOs, providing insight into their increasing role in both the national and international transfer and dispersal of policies.
