Most teachers in post-secondary education have insufficient time to keep up to date in their own subject, let alone keep abreast of the widespread research on teaching. In this book, the authors offer the most complete review of research into methods in college teaching to date. The book attempts to help teachers by focusing on seven major decisions in course preparation. It can be used at the training level to help those new to teaching or as the basis for discussion amongst more experienced teachers.
