Most overweight people have gain their weight very slowly, just a half a pound or sometimes a pound a week. They don't drink a lot of beer, have a lot of second helpings or drink a lot of sugared sodas. For years they were told that fat made you fat and they bought the low-fat and no fat versions of the foods they liked. And still the weight came on month after month. Now, we list some of the diets people turn to when they try to lose weight. Some of them are hilarious. Most of them describe in great detail the kinds of menus you should eat from and the foods used to fill out those menus. One of the diets that sends you food to eat show some pictures of meals loaded with foods to be avoided. For many years I worked in the food and drug industries and diets, diet drugs, and eating habits were constantly discussed. The effects of eating certain foods and taking certain drugs were studied and analyzed endlessly. There was a lot of talk and study revolving around calories, but sugar was just another source of calories, not a separate study. When I was retired and 30 pounds overweight, I went back and reviewed what I had learned. The Atkins diet made a lot of sense in terms of avoiding sugar by avoiding carbohydrates, but carbohydrates are too important in your diet to be avoided because they contain sugar. That is the way the journey began by looking at sugar loaded foods like fruit and supposedly low sugar foods like vegetables and grains. The answers were there, if you asked the right questions, but even the people who knew the answers did not see the implications of what they were saying. There is free sugar in a lot of foods that is unlabeled because of the way it is made. Once you know where the sugar is, the diet is simple. You need a fair amount of sugar in your diet for energy, today's energy. If you get too much sugar the excess gets stored as fat for that day when you need more sugar than you have the and the body will lose the fat and use the stored sugar. So you are not eating less, just eating a little differently, A lot of food experts know the facts about sugar. They just haven't put two and two together yet. We will show you how to do it. We also talk about snacks. In our "e;stay home"e; economy it is easy to get up every half hour, go in the kitchen and get a bite. Those bites add up and we'll give you some snacks that won't contain secret sugar, one that uses more energy to eat than it gives in return!

There are hundreds of diet books with long and complicated lists of natural and manufactured foods to eat and avoid. Most people don't overeat a lot - just a pound or two every month. After a few years, and 40 to 100 pounds, or so, they are ready for a diet. But, if your weight gain was due to some processed foods, all you have to do is cut back on the few items to quickly and easily lose your excess weight.

This book traces the progress of the coronavirus from his start in China to its worldwide spread as a pandemic. It documents the progress of Covid 19, from the first plane loads of people arriving from China, in which nearly everyone on the plane was infected. It then tracks the disastrous infection of people under continuous care in hospitals. Then came the return of students to school and the spread of virus continued. The book tracks the disastrous medical advice from the CDC with prescribed six-foot distancing indoors and outdoors. The television cameras showed thousands of people ignoring that advice and then the politicians panicked and sent people home, where they proceeded to socialize as they would have outdoors and in so doing completed the final stage of the off-season flu epidemic. The book examines what might've been done at each stage to prevent it. Covid 19 epidemic. It traces each step to show how the disease was actually telling the doctors what to do. But the doctors were more interested in treating symptoms than in preventing the spread of the disease. The book of concludes with some practical steps that people can take to avoid contracting this, or any other, virus.
