Its aim is to implement aformal system which captures a practically relevant body ofcognitive faculties employed by humans and capitalizes onits technical strength to extend human knowledgerepresentation and reasoning capabilities.In this monograph, the author develops formalisms for hisown notion of a vivid knowledge representation and reasoningsystem, characterized by the presence of two kinds ofnegation (weak and strong) and the requirements ofrestricted reflexivity, constructivity, andnon-explosiveness. The book is based on work carried outwithin an interdisciplinary research project at the FreeUniversity of Berlin.

Neue Forschungsergebnisse zeigen, dass die alleinige Behandlung der (vermeintlich) zugrundeliegenden psychischen Störungen oft nicht ausreicht, um das Suizidrisiko zu senken. Das Kurzzeitprogramm "RISE – Relapse Prevention Intervention after Suicidal Event" setzt daher direkt bei der Bewältigung von Suizidgedanken und suizidalem Verhalten an.Dabei werden Schlüsselelemente der kognitiv-behavioralen Verhaltenstherapie mit Techniken der Akzeptanz- und Commitment-Therapie (ACT) kombiniert, die sich als wirksam beim Umgang mit Suizidgedanken und suizidalem Verhalten erwiesen haben. Das therapeutische Vorgehen zielt darauf ab, das Risiko für erneute Suizidversuche zu verringern, das Hilfesuchverhalten zu fördern, die Fähigkeit zur Bewältigung von Suizidgedanken zu verbessern und die Fertigkeiten zum Selbstmanagement von zukünftigen Krisen zu steigern. Das Behandlungsmanual umfasst fünf ca. 50-minütige psychotherapeutische Einzelsitzungen, die eine Anwendung sowohl im (akut-)stationären als auch im ambulanten Setting ermöglichen. Neben der praxisorientierten Darstellung der Therapiesitzungen werden u.a. auch Informationen zu Risikofaktoren, aktuellen Störungsmodellen sowie diagnostischen Materialien gegeben. Zusätzlich bietet das Manual begleitende Informationen und Hilfestellungen zur Beurteilung des aktuellen Suizidrisikos sowie zur Absprachefähigkeit der Patient*innen.Zahlreiche Arbeitsmaterialien können nach erfolgter Registrierung von der Hogrefe Website heruntergeladen werden. Optional können Patient*innen auch die App "LifeStep" nutzen, um Gelerntes in den Alltag zu integrieren.

This methodology allows for a clear derivation of the classical Lagrangian and highlights the invariance of the Euler-Lagrange equation under arbitrary coordinate transformations, which serves as the main motivation for our exploration.While beginning with classical mechanics, the scope of our book naturally extends to unify concepts across a wide range of theoretical physics, including field theories, electrodynamics, and relativity.
