This book gathers papers presented at the Logistik-Management-Konferenz 2013, which was organized by the VHB Wissenschaftliche Kommission Logistik and held in Bremen, Germany. The papers reflect the current state-of-the-art in logistics and supply chain management, focusing on environmental sustainability in logistics and supply chain network dynamics and control. The target audience primarily consists of researchers and practitioners in the field, but the book may also be beneficial for graduate students.

This volume contains a selection of 128 papers presented in lectures during the international scientific symposium "Operations Research 2005" (OR 2005) held at the University of Bremen, September 7-9, 2005. This international conference took place under the auspices of the German Operations Research Society (GOR).

The symposium had about 600 participants from countries all over the world. It attracted academics and practitioners working in various fields of Operations Research and provided them with the most recent advances in Operations Research as well as related areas in Economics, Mathematics, and Computer Science including the special interest streams Logistics and New Maritime Businesses.

The program consisted of 3 plenary and 15 semi-plenary talks and about 400 contributed presentations selected by the program committee to be presented in 20 sections.

Logistic problems can rarely be solved satisfyingly within one single scientific discipline. This cross-sectional character is taken into account by the Research Cluster for Dynamics in Logistics with a combination of economical, information and production technical and enterprise-oriented research approaches. In doing so, the interdisciplinary cooperation between university, research institutes and enterprises for the solution of logistic problems is encouraged.

This book comprises the edited proceedings of the first International Conference on Dynamics in Logistics LDIC 2007. The scope of the conference was concerned with the identification, analysis, and description of the dynamics of logistic processes and networks. The spectrum reached from the planning and modelling of processes over innovative methods like autonomous control and knowledge management to the new technologies provided by radio frequency identification, mobile communication, and networking.

Two invited papers and of 42 contributed papers on various subjects give an state-of-art overview on dynamics in logistics. They include routing in dynamic logistic networks, RFID in logistics and manufacturing networks, supply chain control policies, sustainable collaboration, knowledge management and service models in logistics, container logistics, autonomous control in logistics, and logistic process modelling.

Der Autor analysiert, wie für ein Green Controlling in öffentlichen Unternehmen mit dezentralen Organisationsstrukturen neue und mit Anreizsystemen gekoppelte Governance-Strukturen ausgestaltet werden können. So werden u. a. Entscheidungskonstellationen unter Betrachtung der Prinzipal-Agent- sowie Spieltheorie untersucht.

Die digitale Transformation bringt unternehmerische und technologische Veränderungen mit sich, die sich in besonderem Maße auch auf die Arbeitnehmer auswirken. Will man sie auf die Reise in eine digitale Unternehmenswelt mitnehmen, anstatt sie nur vor vollendete Tatsachen zu stellen, ist Mitarbeiterpartizipation ein hierfür konstitutives Vorgehen. Zielsetzung war es, ein Modell zu entwickeln, welches im Stande ist die digitale Transformation von Unternehmen partizipativ zu gestalten. Basierend auf den Ergebnissen einer umfassenden systematischen Literaturrecherche und der Aufarbeitung der einwirkenden Themengebiete entwickelte die Autorin ein partizipatives Modell und nahm eine Übertragung auf die Flughafenbranche in Gestalt eines Flughafens 4.0 vor.

Dieses Buch enthält eine Auswahl wesentlicher Publikationen von Otto Rentz. Die Themenschwerpunkte seiner Arbeit und damit der Publikationen liegen in den Gebieten Produktion, Operations Research, Umweltschutz, nachhaltiges Wirtschaften und Energiewirtschaft. Das Buch gibt damit einen Überblick über das vielfältige Werk des Autors, die von ihm untersuchten Probleme, der angewandten Methoden und der erzielten Ergebnisse.
