This book constitutes the proceedings papers of the 14th IFIP Working Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modeling, held in Riga, Latvia, during November 24-26, 2021. 

PoEM offers a forum for sharing experiences and knowledge between the academic community and practitioners from industry and the public sector. This year the theme of the conference is the use of enterprise modeling and enterprise architecture towards ensuring sustainability and resilience of enterprises and societies. 

The 14 full and 6 short papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 47 submissions. They were organized in topical sections named: enterprise modeling and enterprise architecture; enterprise modeling methods and method engineering; business process modeling and management; requirements engineering for privacy, security and governance; and case studies and experiences.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 16th International Conference on Research Challenges in Information Sciences, RCIS 2022, which took place in Barcelona, Spain, during May 17–20, 2022. It focused on the special theme "Ethics and Trustworthiness in Information Science".

The scope of RCIS is summarized by the thematic areas of information systems and their engineering; user-oriented approaches; data and information management; business process management; domain-specific information systems engineering; data science; information infrastructures, and reflective research and practice.

The 35 full papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from a total 100 submissions. The 18 Forum papers are based on 11 Forum submissions, from which 5 were selected, and the remaining 13 were transferred from the regular submissions. The 6 Doctoral Consortium papers were selected from 10 submissions to the consortium. The contributions were organized in topical sections named: Data Science and Data Management; Information Search and Analysis; Business Process Management; Business Process Mining; Digital Transformation and Smart Life; Conceptual Modelling and Ontologies; Requirements Engineering; Model-Driven Engineering; Machine Learning Applications. In addition, two-page summaries of the tutorials can be found in the back matter.

The 19 full and 11 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 82 submissions. The papers are organzed in the following topical sections: ​foundations of conceptual modeling; ontologies and their applications; applications of conceptual modeling; data modeling and analysis; business process; quality and performance; security, privacy and risk management; goals and requirements.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 16th International Baltic Conference on Digital Business and Intelligent Systems, Baltic DB&IS 2024, held in Vilnius, Lithuania, during June 30–July 3, 2024.

The 13 full papers and 3 short papers presented here, were carefully reviewed and selected from 36 submissions, and focus on the various fields of Business digitalization and development of intelligent business systems. Abstracts from the keynote speeches from the conference are also included in these proceedings.

This volume constitutes the proceedings of the 8th IFIP WG 8.1 Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modeling held in November 2015 in Valencia, Spain. The PoEM conference series started in 2008 and aims to provide a forum sharing knowledge and experiences between the academic community and practitioners from industry and the public sector.

The 23 short papers accepted were carefully reviewed and selected from 72 submissions and are organized in eight sections on Evolving Enterprises, Securing Enterprises, Making Empirical Studies, Investigating Enterprise Methods, Acquiring User Information, Managing Risks and Threats, Engineering Methods, and Making Decisions in Enterprises.
