Ses décisions sont assirnilables à des jugements de tribunaux étatiques.

Pour la première fois, le TAS publie un recueil regroupant toutes les decisions majeures qu''il a rendues depuis sa création. Ce recueil s’adresse à un large public. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) provides international sport with a jurisdictional institution capable of setting all legal disputes relating to sport. Founded in 1984, the CAS is currently the only international institution specializing in the resolution of sports disputes. Its decisions are equivalent to the judgements of state courts. For the first time, the CAS is publishing a compilation of all the major decisions it has issued since its creation.
