Max Neuhaus – författare

In 1977, Max Neuhaus turned a triangle of pedestrian space between 45th and 46th Streets in Times Square into an island of harmonic sound. The rich textures of that sound continue today, emanating from beneath the sidewalk grating, to anonymously reach an individual’s ears as if one has stumbled upon a secret. Known as Times Square, the celebrated installation was restored in 2002 with support from Dia Art Foundation, which further commissioned a site-specific piece, Time Piece Beacon, from Neuhaus in 2006 for its museum in Beacon, New York. This stunning book—the only volume in print dedicated solely to the work of Neuhaus—takes these two projects as a point of departure from which to consider the singular impact this artist has had in establishing sound as a medium in contemporary art. An interview with Neuhaus is complemented with essays by multidisciplinary scholars who investigate and situate his work within a historical context. Distributed for Dia Art Foundation

The goal of UBI is to ensure a minimum level of economic security and social justice for all people. The introduction of a UBI is expected to improve the following aspects: Poverty is reduced, social protection is strengthened, and people's freedom and self-determination are increased. UBI is often discussed as an alternative solution to the current economic and social challenges of modern society, such as increasing inequality, unemployment due to automation and technological change, unequal opportunities and discrimination. UBI is intended to address these challenges by providing all citizens with a minimum level of security and freedom to improve their living situation and pursue their individual goals and dreams.

Grundlegend unterscheidet man zwischen der Innen- und Auenfinanzierung und der Eigen- und Fremdfinanzierung. Zusatzliches Kapital wird immer haufiger in mittelstandischen Unternehmen benotigt. Bei fremdfinanziertem Kapital kann die zusatzliche finanzielle Mehrbelastung, durch Zinsen, einen negativen Einfluss auf die finanziellen Mittel eines Unternehmens durch eine Budgetminderung haben. Besonders fur mittelstandische Unternehmen haben sich beispielsweise Kontokorrentkredite zur Kapitalbeschaffung nicht als zeitgema erwiesen. Durch den standigen Wandel an den Finanzmarkten haben sich in der Vergangenheit bereits mehrere Instrumente zur Finanzierung etabliert. Dennoch legen immer noch viele Unternehmen den Hauptfinanzierungsfokus auf die klassischen Kreditformen. Daraus resultierend lasst sich feststellen, dass die Fremdkapitalquote bei deutschen Unternehmen deutlich hoher ist als bei auslandischen. Durch die Verzinsung des Fremdkapitals wird das Unternehmensbudget ebenfalls nachteilig beeinflusst.
