Imagining the healthcare of the future is an interesting exercise, and although nobody can predict precisely what systems might operate in ten year’s time, the possibilities which already exist can give us a clue as to how healthcare may be managed by 2030.This book presents papers from the conference Healthcare of the Future, held in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, on 5 April 2019. The conference reflects some of the results of a two year multi-stakeholder Swiss research program in medical informatics. The research program, which began in 2016, saw 25 stakeholders cooperating for an integrated cross-sectoral treatment pathway with the goal of avoiding communication gaps and information loss among the different participants within the treatment process. The principal goals were to improve and accelerate healthcare processes and empower the patient to play an active and decisive role within their own care process. The project highlighted interaction between caregivers, patients and healthcare institutions based on modern information technology. Topics covered are divided into 4 sections: workflows in healthcare; how does eHealth change the care process; knowledge based IT support; and eHealth and the informed patient, and the book also includes the keynote conference speech on improving the hospital-patient relationship with digital communication.The book will be of interest to all those involved in healthcare whose aim is to improve and accelerate healthcare processes and empower patients to play a more active and decisive role in their own care.

This 2022 edition of the medical informatics conference has the subtitle and theme: Digital Health – From Vision to Best Practice! The conference explores recent advances in the deployment of digital technologies in areas such as eHealth, mHealth, personalized health and workflow-based health applications. The overarching aim of the conference is to bridge or eliminate current gaps in information with regard to outpatient care, inpatient care and the interfaces between them. The conference invited submissions for a main track and a young researchers track, and 19 papers are included here; 10 from the main track and 9 from young researchers. All papers have been peer reviewed by 2 reviewers. The papers are divided into 8 sections: advancing interoperability; semantic interoperability; medical informatics for medical research; evaluation of it influence; apps for patients and healthcare professionals parts 1 & 2; workflow based support in patient care; and research in medicine and medical informatics.Presenting an overview of developments and research aimed at improving and accelerating healthcare processes, the book will be of interest to healthcare professionals from a wide range of disciplines.

Auerdem findet eine Risikobetrachtung in Bezug auf den damit verbundenen Ersatzkraftebedarf statt. Zunachst werden der prozentualen Krankenstand und die durchschnittlichen AU-Tage nach verschiedenen Faktoren mithilfe der Formeln und Rechenwege dargestellt und bewertet. Im zweiten Teil wird mithilfe der Altersstrukturanalyse der Demografie-Check durchgefuhrt.

Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2023 im Fachbereich Gesundheit - Digital Health Management, Note: 1,4, Deutsche Hochschule fur Pravention und Gesundheitsmanagement GmbH, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ziel der Arbeit ist es, auf Basis einer systematischen Literaturrecherche und -auswertung die Merkmale und Auspragungen der Arbeitswelt 4.0 und der New Work - Konzepte aufzuzeigen und deren Potenziale und Risiken auf die Gesundheit der Beschaftigten herauszuarbeiten. Auf folgende Fragestellungen wird hier besonders eingegangen: Welche Auswirkung haben die Arbeitswelt 4.0 und New Work Konzepte auf die Gesundheit der Beschaftigten? Welche Rolle spielen psychische Belastungen in der Arbeitswelt 4.0?Die Arbeitswelt 4.0, welche gerade erst begonnen hat und ihren Namen den drei vorangegangenen industriellen Revolutionen zu verdanken hat, stellt zwar fur Unternehmen enorme Potenziale dar, fuhrt aber auch bei Beschaftigten zu Angsten und konfrontiert diese mit neuen oder veranderten Anforderungen. Digitalisierung, Flexibilisierung und Prozessbeschleunigungen sind zentrale Merkmale dieser Arbeitswelt und treffen dann auch noch auf den Wertewandel in der Gesellschaft, welcher sich insbesondere durch den Wunsch nach mehr Arbeitszeitautonomie, Mitsprache, besserer Work-Life-Balance bzw. auch Work-Life-Blending sowie Homeoffice-Moglichkeiten kennzeichnet. Dies alles fuhrt zwangslaufig zu der Frage, ob und, wenn ja, welche Auswirkungen diese Veranderungen auf die Gesundheit der Beschaftigten haben.
