"A Knight of Our Times" - is a novel published in the three publications of "Vestnik" in 1802-1803. The romantic story of Leon is presented as the events from the real Karamzin`s "friend`s» life. The author created the description of life of the sensitive young man during the illness under the influence of Jean-Jacques Rousseau`s "Confession" but he did not finish the novel.
