In einer Zeit des Umbruchs wuchs eine Generation heran, die sich ihren eigenen Weg suchte und ihn in der sich Bahn brechenden neuen Musik aus England und den USA fand.In "Reif für die Insel" beschreibt Cornelius, wie es war und bis heute ist, diesen Weg zu gehen.
