Zur Emeritierung Manfred Maiwalds versammelt dieser liber amicorum Beiträge zu aktuellen Entwicklungen und grundlegenden Fragestellungen der deutschen und ausländischen Strafrechtswissenschaft. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt bei den Möglichkeiten und Grenzen, ein gemeinsames europäisches Strafrechtssystem zu schaffen. Voraussetzung dafür ist eine Beschränkung auch des deutschen Straf- und Strafprozeßrechts auf die Regelung grundsätzlicher Konflikte.
