Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Medienpädagogik, Note: 1,3, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Ziel der Arbeit ist es, die Forschungsfrage zu beantworten, welche Chancen und Herausforderungen des Lernens es im Strafvollzug gibt. Dafür wird sowohl ein allgemeiner Überblick über E-Learning und Digitalisierung aufgezeigt, als auch detailliert die Lernplattform "elis" untersucht.In der Erziehungswissenschaft erweisen sich die Freiheitsstrafe sowie Strafgefangene als Klienten der Erwachsenenbildung als Randgebiet. Für ein einheitliches Verständnis über die besonderen Begebenheiten des Strafvollzugs wird zunächst grundlegendes Wissen über die Freiheitsstrafe sowie den Resozialisierungsprozess und das Übergangsmanagement vermittelt. Mit diesem Grundverständnis wird anschließend das Thema Weiterbildung erörtert. Bildung ist für den Resozialisierungsprozess von große Bedeutung. Daher ist es wichtig, die Besonderheiten von Weiterbildung in der Erwachsenenbildung zu erläutern und diese anschließend auf den Strafvollzug zu übertragen. Deshalb werden die spezifischen Herausforderungen der Weiterbildung im Strafvollzug dargestellt.Ein möglicher Lösungsansatz für die Herausforderungen zeigt sich im E-Learning (s. Kapitel 2.3), was neue Chancen für den Bildungsprozess und auch für die Resozialisierung aufweist. Zur Ausarbeitung der Chancen des digitalen Lernens wird zunächst auf die Bedeutung des Internets in der Gesellschaft sowie auf die Bedeutung von E-Learning außerhalb des Strafvollzugs eingegangen. Die drei bekannten Lehr- und Lerntheorien werden anschließend auf E-Learning bezogen und durch den Konnektivismus als neue Lerntheorie des E-Learnings ergänzt. Mit diesem Vorwissen über E-Learning lässt sich anschließend ein besseres Verständnis über die Begebenheiten von E-Learning im Strafvollzug erlangen. Da E-Learning im deutschen Strafvollzug ausschließlich über die E-Learning-Plattform elis möglich ist, steht diese im Fokus der vorliegenden Arbeit. Um die theoretischen Überlegungen empirisch zu unterstützen, wird auf ein qualitatives Interview zurückgegriffen. Die Auswertung anhand der qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse bringt neue Erkenntnisse, die zu der Weiterentwicklung der E-Learning-Plattform elis beitragen könnten.
