SIMULATION TECHNIQUES OF DIGITAL TWIN IN REAL-TIME APPLICATIONS The book gives a complete overview of implementing digital twin technology in real-time scenarios while emphasizing how this technology can be embedded with running technologies to solve all other issues. Divided into two parts with Part 1 focusing on simulated techniques in digital twin technology and Part 2 on real-time applications of digital twin technology, the book collects a significant number of important research articles from domain-specific experts. The book sheds light on the various techniques of digital twin technology that are implemented in various application areas. It emphasizes error findings and respective solutions before the actual event happens. Most of the features in the book are on the implementation of strategies in real-time applications. Various real-life experiences are taken to show the proper implementation of simulation technologies. The book shows how engineers of any technology can input their research ideas to convert to real scenarios by using replicas. Hence, the book has a collection of research articles from various engineers with expertise in different technologies from many regions of the world. It shows how to implement the embedded real-time data into technologies. Specifically, the chapters relate to the auto landing and cruising features in aerial vehicles, automated coal mining simulation strategy, the enhancement of workshop equipment, and implementation in power energy management for urban railways. This book also describes the coherent mechanism of digital twin technologies with deep neural networks and artificial intelligence. Audience Researchers, engineers, and students in computer science, software engineering and industrial engineering, will find this book to be very useful.

The BlackBerry is cool, and the BlackBerry is fun, but the BlackBerry also means serious business. For those of you who bought your BlackBerry to help get your life organized and free yourself from the ball-and-chain of desktop computing, BlackBerry for Work: Productivity for Professionals is the book to show you how. There are plenty of general-purpose BlackBerry guides, but this book shows you how to complete all the traditional smartphone tasks, like to-dos, calendars, and email, and become even more efficient and productive. You’ll learn mechanisms for developing effective workflows specific to the features of the BlackBerry and also efficient strategies for dealing with the specialized aspects of business and professional lifestyles. After giving a professionally targeted introduction to the built-in applications and configuration options, this book details the BlackBerry’s enterprise features. This book also delves into App World, the BlackBerry’s source for third-party software. It discusses some of the best business and vertical applications, and shows you how to take advantage of this wealth of add-ons and professional functionality. The only business-specific guide to the BlackBerry. Improve your productivity with innovative mobile workflows that free you from the desktop. Make the BlackBerry work for you so you can work better. The authors of BlackBerry for Work have decided to direct their share of the proceeds from the book to a charity in India. The Mitr Foundation is a trust founded in the city of Hyderabad, with the objective of contributing its might towards the empowerment of the girl child through education. Somewhere between the elite and the underprivileged lies the core essence of our endeavor. Shikha Gupta has pledged to undertake the responsibility of educating three children.

A pterygium is a growth that develops on the conjunctiva or mucous membrane that covers the white part of the eye. It is a benign or noncancerous growth that is often shaped like a wedge. In some cases, a pterygium can extend to the cornea. A pterygium usually doesn’t cause problems or require treatment, but it can be removed if it interferes with vision. The exact cause of pterygium isn’t known but one explanation is that too much exposure to ultraviolet light can lead to these growths (Healthline.com).This book is a comprehensive guide to the diagnosis and management of pterygium.Divided into four main sections, the book begins with an introduction to pterygium, and its etiopathogenesis, possible causes and diagnosis. The following sections explain numerous surgical techniques for its management, covering both traditional and newer procedures; and treatment of recurrent pterygium. The final section describes challenging situations in the management of pterygium including post surgical complications, and its treatment with co-existing disorders such as cataract, glaucoma, and corneal opacity. The text is highly illustrated with clinical photographs and is accompanied by an interactive DVD ROM.Key PointsComprehensive guide to the diagnosis and management of pterygiumCovers both traditional and newer surgical techniques, and recurrent pterygiumDiscusses post surgical complications and treatment with co-existing disordersIncludes interactive DVD ROM

The book provides a comprehensive treatise on all aspects of congenital and pediatric glaucoma. Pediatric glaucoma, due to dependence on anaesthesia facility, are usually managed only in tertiary eye care centers. Being a difficult entity for comprehensive evaluation, many ophthalmologists lack adequate experience in diagnosing and managing this specialized group of patients. Pediatric glaucoma are an important cause of ocular morbidity and visual impairment, which if diagnosed in time, pays dividend in terms of improved quality of life, visual outcome and less disability associated life years in this young age group. Early diagnosis, prompt and effective treatment and rehabilitation play an important role in final visual outcomes. The book covers all important aspects of pediatric examination beginning from clinical examination, diagnostic investigations and treatment protocols. Certain examinations like intraocular pressure measurement, gonioscopy, detailed fundus examination need sedation/ anaesthesia. The video based procedural modules aim to explain standard protocols for performing basic examination in children, such as, under anaesthesia or sedation. It has a case based approach for all types of childhood glaucomas, which helps the residents, glaucoma fellows and practicing ophthalmologists alike to identify different types of childhood glaucomas, plan respective management and refer early, whenever indicated for these conditions. The book will serve as a ready reckoner, an authentic reference book and a teaching tool for practicing glaucoma specialists, general ophthalmologists, ophthalmology residents and glaucoma fellows. The editors have extensive experience in dealing with pediatric glaucoma and contributed years of teaching and research in this field. This book primarily consists of images, diagrams, case presentations and illustrative videos wherever required. It illustrates the clinical findings of different pediatric glaucomas andhence acts as a practical teaching tool by providing a plethora of clinical pictures in adjunct to a short case scenario.
