From then on Nashe became involved in numerous political and religious causes, including the Martin Marprelate controversy where he sided with the bishops. Thomas Nashe (1567-1601) was an English playwright and is considered to be one of the greatest Elizabethan pamphleteers.  Nashe’s novel The Unfortunate Traveller is set during the reign of King Henry VIII.  This edition includes a table of contents.
