This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 6th International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition, IWAIPR 2018, held in Havana, Cuba, in September 2018. The 42 full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 101 submissions.
