The catalogue for the exhibition at the Cleve Carney Museum in Chicago (2025) presents an exceptional collection of Japanese artworks, offering the public an in-depth understanding of Japanese painting production from the Edo period (1603–1868), particularly of ukiyo-e, the “images of the Floating World.” The volume includes a selection of hanging vertical scroll paintings (kakemono) and hand-painted horizontal scrolls by the great masters of the various schools, starting from the mid-17th century. Also featured are colour woodblock prints with black outlines and hand painted details — a technique that evolved into nishiki-e, the famous multicoloured “brocade pictures” — as well as printed and painted fans, and high-quality handcrafted objects that testify to Japan’s rich artistic and artisanal tradition, such as board games and musical instruments. These works reflect the evolution of taste, fashion, and entertainment culture that developed during the long Tokugawa peace corresponding to the Edo period. The extraordinary works come from the prestigious collections of the E. Chiossone Museum of Oriental Art in Genoa.

Each photograph, turning space into time, captures the monument's infinite grandeur and its most auratic details. This significant sequence of images offers a singular perspective from unprecedented viewpoints, making the ancient world extraordinarily present while preserving its timeless vastness. The book is enriched with texts by Andrea Cortellessa and Luca Fiore.  Text in English and Italian.

Two souls coexisted within the genius of Salvador Dalí: one revolutionary, the other deeply rooted in the great tradition of painting. The volume, edited by Lucia Moni and Carme Ruiz, with scientific supervision by Montse Aguer, presents a close dialogue with art history, counterpointed by a comparison with Pablo Picasso, an emblem of revolution and modernity. Dalí. Revolution and Tradition also explores the artist’s relationship with the masters who most deeply influenced his vision—Velázquez, Vermeer, and Raphael, his favourite painters—highlighting how his pursuit of technical perfection and formal harmony intertwines with surrealist irreverence and a constant drive toward innovation. Alongside masterpieces inspired by the great artists of the past, the volume also features a selection of illustrations for the book 50 Secrets of Magic Craftsmanship, a testament to Dalí’s profound reflections on art, technique, and creation.

I am Mine traces Feuerman's emergence as a key figure in the Superrealist movement of the 1970s, and considers her ongoing influence on contemporary sculpture. The 1960s and 1970s marked the rise of countercultural movements that challenged social norms regarding sexuality and morality. These movements fostered a more liberal approach to art, allowing artists to explore taboo subjects without fear of censorship. The feminist movement of the late 1960s and the following decade also transformed perceptions of self-determination in the management of one's sexuality. Female artists began to reclaim their bodies, challenging male dominated narratives that often marginalised or objectified female experiences. " With this book, I wanted to initiate a reflection on the cultural climate that characterized the 1970s. I am Mine stems from my need to investigate what meaning my early work might have for younger generations who did not experience that climate of great trans- formation. This led me to engage with female critics with different perspectives, whose texts are collected here". (Carole A. Feuerman)

The exhibition explores themes such as matter and illusion, creation and ruin, body and spirit, investigating the continuous metamorphosis of classical art and the vitality of cultural heritage. The accompanying volume includes essays by Demetrio Paparoni, Alberto Rocca and Eike Schmidt, directors of the hosting institutions, as well as contributions by writer Antonio Moresco and theologian and art critic Friedhelm Mennekes, offering an in-depth reflection on Samorì’s practice and his ability to inspire a renewed vision of art.
