James Carleton Paget is senior lecturer in New Testament at the University of Cambridge and Fellow and Tutor at Peterhouse College. He is the author of The Epistle of Barnabas (1994) and of Jews, Christians and Jewish Christians in Antiquity (2010). Joachim Schaper is professor in Hebrew, Old Testament and Early Jewish Studies at the University of Aberdeen. Richard Marsden is Emeritus Professor of Old English at the University of Nottingham. E. Ann Matter is the William R. Kenan, Jr Professor in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. She teaches and writes about medieval Christian culture, especially biblical interpretation and the history of spirituality. Her publications include The Voice of My Beloved: The Song of Songs in Western Medieval Christianity (1990). Euan Cameron is Henry Luce III Professor of Reformation Church History at Union Theological Seminary, New York and Professor of Religion at Columbia University, New York. His publications include Waldenses: Rejections of Holy Church in Medieval Europe (2000), Interpreting Christian History: The Challenge of the Churches' Past (2005), Enchanted Europe: Superstition, Reason, and Religion, 1250–1750 (2010), and The European Reformation, 2nd Edition (2012). John Riches is Emeritus Professor of Divinity and Biblical Criticism at the University of Glasgow. His publications include The Bible: A Very Short Introduction (2000), Conflicting Mythologies: Identity Formation in the Gospels of Mark and Matthew (2000), and Galatians through the Centuries (2008).
