Compiled by academics, this series covers the lives and careers of British Prime Ministers, eminent statesmen and military leaders from the 18th to the 20th century. George Nathaniel Curzon, first Marquis Curzon of Kedleston was, perhaps, the most important British statesman of the modern era not to become prime minister.
