Miguel A. Wister received his Ph.D. in Information Technology and Communications Engineering from the University of Murcia, Spain (2008). He earned an MSc in Informatics Technology at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), Mexico, (1997), and a BSc degree in Informatics at the Juarez Autonomous University of Tabasco (UJAT), Mexico, (1993). He has tutored over 40 BSc and MSc students. Dr. Wister has also authored and co-authored about 20 scientific papers published in peer-reviewed conferences and journals. He is the editor and co-author of the book Intelligent Data Sensing and Processing for Health and Well-being Applications (Editorial Academic Press, ELSEVIER). Since 2007, he has directed and participated on several projects related to Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing, Wireless Sensor Networks and RFID applications related to healthcare. Francisco Diego Acosta Escalante holds a PhD. in computer science with honors from the University of Sciences and Techniques of Languedoc in the French city of Montpellier, he has a master's degree in computer science from the University of Grenoble National Polytechnic and the University Joseph Fourier in France and is an engineer in Computer Systems by Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) in Monterrey, Mexico. In his teaching he has taught courses both undergraduate and graduate students and has authored more than 30 undergraduate and graduate thesis. It has also given lectures at scientific events and has over 20 scientific publications in the area of computing systems. Electronic and Communications Engineering graduate from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, 1996. Seventeen years as Research Professor at the Juarez Autonomous University of Tabasco.
