Non-Thermal Plasma Technology for Polymeric Materials

Prof. Sabu Thomas is a globally renowned scientist and one of the leading researchers in polymer science and nanotechnology. He currently serves as Professor of Polymer Science & Engineering and was the former Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. Prof. Thomas is internationally recognized for his pioneering work on polymer blends, nanocomposites, green materials, and sustainable polymers. Miran Mozetič is Professor and Head of the Department of Surface Engineering and Optoelectronics at the Jozef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is the leader of a research group working on generation and characterization of highly reactive gaseous plasma, interdisciplinary research on interaction of non-equilibrium plasma with organic materials, plasma nanoscience, as well as development of different technologies for Dr Uroš Cvelbar is a full professor and the head of the Department of Gaseous Electronics at the Jozef Stefan Institute, Slovenia. In addition, he serves as a professor, predominantly instructing postgraduate courses at the University of Ljubljana and various other European universities. Professor Cvelbar holds the esteemed title of Erudite professor in India, serves as a visiting professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, and is a distinguished member of the Club of Rome (Slovenian Association) and a fellow of WAAS (World Academy of Arts and Sciences). Petr Špatenka is Head of the Department of Materials Engneering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He is also Director of the Department of Applied Physics and Technoloy at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, and Co-owner of SufaceTreat, a company focused on plasma technology.
